Installation was delayed twice and would have been a 3rd time if I hadn't complained. After installation they left mastic, screws and rubble everywhere, with very little effort to clean up. There were several snags as well.The lady in customer service wasnt particularly polite and no discount was offered despite the bad service. Would highly recommend Amber Home Improvements. Nice friendly hardworking and trustworthy "blokes" whose work is excellent and professional. We are delighted with our new bathroom it looks beautiful.
Prompt, courteous, professional, efficient and tenacious - couldn't have asked for any more. Mitch persevered with the 'unusual' existing plumbing in my home and made a great job of putting things right. I see there are lots of happy customers, so good luck with that, but my experience has been far from positive. The job wasn't completed in full, however excuses and things like crossed wires communication were ready.

The one row of cupboards had been cut down in depth from the standard size, I admit I did not realise this so the worktop had a different overhang on this side. I explained to the husband that I could cut back the worktop and set a piece of the left over work top in to remove this error and give a nice joint,, no bare wood would have been showing as they say above. Eddie said no leave it as it is - I asked him to speak to his wife Tracey before committing but he said "she would not understand".

Just had a new front door fitted by…
Amber could not have been more helpful throughout and I would recommend them totally. My mother's place was flooded and after Servpro dried it out needed major repairs. Repairs included walls, new floors for the entire unit , painting plus some other quality of life upgrades.
We had some unforseen problems crop up once or twice which he helped us deal with even going out of his way to pick things up or to help solve. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to keep everything as tidy as possible. Took great care in doing the job properly.
Bathroom & en-suite refurbishment
My Nan had her door fitted a while ago and ever since she has been continually harassed by them, even after making several calls to them to cease contact they have still continued. The surveyor was very friendly and helpful and the installation by Ade was top notch, well sealed and finished which is what I was hoping for. We were particularly impressed with the attention to detail for the fitting - the trims and finishing touches were really good. This extra care and detail has made the difference and we would definitely use them again. We are extremely pleased with the french doors and windows, excellent quality.

Fantastic service from Mitch and also Martin the tiler. My bathroom refit was finished to a very high standard. I Would highly recommend Amber home improvements to anyone else and would definitely use again.
It goes against our guidelines to offer incentives for reviews. We also ensure all reviews are published without moderation. Mitch responded very quickly to my request. He rang when he said he would ring and arrived on time to do the work, which was done efficiently and quickly. He was very polite, friendly and conscientious. Mitch did a great job in refurbishing the toilet fittings in my cloakroom.
We will definitely be recommending him and using him again as we need to. The first time he came he left an overhang on the one side of the worktop. He gave my husband the choice of the overhang or wood showing at the back. He basically had not measured correctly. The job was done with a router which meant no strips in between.
We were so impressed we recently had them back to do our fascia and guttering, which we have been equally delighted with. Don’t use this company unless you want to be hounded for the rest of your life. Bob and his crew finished our job and the bedroom and closet doors look great !
Amber recently installed a complete new roofline, replaced all 16 external windows and 3 external doors. Given the size of the installation, I was expecting it to be very expensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how competitive the pricing was. The whole process, from the sales director visiting me at home to offer some advice, the surveyors visit to measure up and the installation work itself was very well organised.
All of the above has been done to a high standard with minimal disruption & he has been very flexible with his time. For the work that has been done I have been very pleased with the cost & I have recommended him to many friends who have also gone onto recommend him. We hired Amber Home Improvements for the fitting of our shower and shower tray. Mitch and his team are great to deal with and work to extremely high standards of care and attention to detail. My Victorian style bathroom looks fantastic after a full restoration including ceiling, walls and floor.
Bob helped us demo and reno our kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living room and 4 bedrooms. He re-sheetrocked almost the entire house and his team did an amazing job with trim and molding work. He worked with us to customize our dream kitchen and we are incredibly happy.
